Getting The People To Dance

Right here is a DJ tip when you got an empty dance floor, what to do?

See what kind of people and try to feel and be one of them.

Find and play an older track that you have seen on crowded dance floors before.

Play the famous old dancing track and you will see the people will start to trickle onto the dance floor.

Be sure you are playing the right style for the kind of  people there.

Throw in more older tracks of the same style. Or  try a recent remix or mashup of the older hits.

When you got the floor hot then mix a  recent new track  then throw in a spanking new track .

So you don’t look that you are outdated.

Most probably the crowd on the floor will thin out, if not continue on the new music, but if so then back down to the older tracks  to keep the place warm.

Sometimes when playing brand new music, the people just don’t know the music  and so things can be cold and the dancing just won’t start.

If you got some friends, tell them to be on dance floor till it packs up.

You can also try  the Electric Slide Dance if the music just wont start it up.

Another way to get your guests dancing is to dance yourself !
