These DJ Headphones Are Really One Of The Best

Pioneer HDJ-2000 DJ Headphones

Pioneer HDJ-2000  Dj HeadphonesDJ Headphones

  • magnesium set of headphones with excellent sound
  • redesign of the sound definition gives a much fuller and more detailed sound
  • high-quality sound that clearly and accurately reproduces audio
  • Comfortable fit to minimize fatigue from long periods of use
  • High durability that withstands demanding conditions and touring
Compared with a couple other ones and it absolutely stands out in terms of the sound quality, comfort and sturdiness.

Very smooth not too much bass and just enough high end.Very light weight and comfortable.

Pricey, but worth it since these will last awhile.

Fits perfect, still comfy after long hours of spinnin’ and the construction is top notch. Already dropped them and it still works! Weight is mild and balanced unlike the HDJ-1000.

Best DJ Headphones

What are the best DJ headphones

What are the best DJ headphones?

Well that depends  on you and how you use it.   Here is a video showing some of the best headphones around:

Denon DN-HP700, Sony MDR-V700DJ, Denon DN-HP1000, Pioneer HDJ-1000, Sennheiser HD25, Allen & Heath Xone XD-53.

There are other headphones which are not listed here like from Technics , etc.

But I will not list them all for there is too many.

There is a couple cheap sets below which I consider pretty good which have not been shown on the video:

One of the cheapest but high quality headphones are the  Behrhinger High-Definition DJ Headphones HPX2000 and the Sennheiser HD 202 Headphones

I recommend them for any DJ who is trying to set up a system on a low budget.

The only problem about these, is the noise isolation, which is not so good.

Ok , so probably one of the best is the Allen Heath Xone XD 53 Professional Monitoring Headphones .

Plus consider these also as one of the best DJ headphones Pioneer HDJ-2000

DJ Tip:

What Makes a Good Pair of Headphones for DJ-ing?

It’s very important to point out here that above everything else, headphone choice is extremely subjective and down to personal preference. The headphones I love, may not necessarily be the best ones for you. However, there are a few things that all good headphones need to have in common.

  • Sound Quality: For obvious reasons, you need your headphones to sound good, especially when reproducing highs and lows as this is what will greatly assist you with your beat matching.
  • Build Quality: Headphones are heavy duty built. They get twisted around your head, shoved in bags, dropped, pulled hard by the cable, pull on and off very quickly. If the build quality of the headphones is not good, then they will not last you very long, regardless of how good they sound.
  • Isolation: Your headphones need to block out surrounding noise so your can hear what is going on inside them. This is one of the key features of a pair of DJ headphones as opposed to say some audiophile ones.
  • Comfort: Obviously, if you end up DJ-ing for a long period of time, you’ll be wearing your headphones for most of the time. So you want something comfortable, otherwise you may end up with a sore head.

As long as the DJ headphones you choose have these four features, they should be fine.

However, you should ALWAYS go and check  them out in a store before you buy them.

Or if  there is pair at a friend’s or somewhere at work then you can safely order it online as you know what you are going to buy.
